Gifts to the President's Fund for Excellence are used at the President's discretion to provide critical funding for a variety of needs and opportunities across campus — including scholarships for current and incoming students and awards for outstanding faculty members — and allow the university to respond to new initiatives as they arise.

Libraries Excellence Fund

The Libraries Excellence Fund provides support for activities, projects and programs to enhance the overall excellence of the UW Libraries, including services, speakers, publications and special projects.
