Friends of ABRC

show description Add to my gifts
The Addictive Behaviors Research Center was founded in 1981 to develop and evaluate science-based programs for the prevention and treatment of addictive behaviors. In the past 30 years, the ABRC's work has led or been foundational in understanding and treating alcohol, drug, smoking, gambling, eating, and sexual addictions. The center also has a strong history and commitment to training addictions and mental health professionals, to community education, and culturally sensitive program development (done in partnership with several local Native American Tribes). All donations will be used in support of the Center's mission. Specifics examples include sponsoring pilot research, community trainings, or dissemination of findings.
